About the Role

Lockheed Martin, Rotary Mission Systems Cyber & Intelligence is seeking a Database Engineer Sr – E3 to provide full lifecycle support including analysis, design, development, integration, testing, procurement, deployment, security, training, and sustainment for collection and antenna systems. You will work on the forefront of threat protection and proactive prevention in a fast-paced, real-world environment.

What You’ll Do / Key Responsibilities

  • Lifecycle Support: Provide full lifecycle support including analysis, design, development, integration, testing, procurement, deployment, security, training, and sustainment for collection and antenna systems.
  • Database Administration & Design: Develop long and short-term requirements for database administration and design.
  • Database Operations: Work with relational and non-relational databases, utilizing SQL and associated management tools.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: Three (3) years of experience as a Database Engineer (DBE) in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity (Note: Five (5) years of DBE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance is strictly required.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases to include Oracle, Postgres, Mongo, and Redis, along with experience using SQL and associated tools (e.g., SQL Developer).

  • Additional Technologies: Experience with Elasticsearch.
