About the Role
Peraton is a national security company providing trusted, highly differentiated solutions to protect the nation and allies. The Lead Data Migration Architect will serve as the primary technical interface between the contractor and U.S. Government customer, providing senior-level technical leadership for data-centric mission systems.
What You’ll Do / Key Responsibilities
- Lead and perform data migration efforts across enterprise data repositories, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
- Guide development and migration efforts leveraging Python, SQL, Java, and Linux-based systems.
- Support troubleshooting, performance tuning, and system enhancements for mission-critical applications.
- Lead as the Program Manager for a small team of analysts, overseeing cost, schedule, and performance.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 12 years of experience, including 5 years of project management experience.
- Strong experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph required.
- Demonstrated experience leading or supporting data migration efforts between enterprise repositories.
Preferred / Bonus Qualifications (if applicable)
- PMP certification or master’s degree.
- Experience driving automation and process optimization initiatives.
