About the Role

At Data Bene, we are expanding our team and recruiting a PostgreSQL Technical Lead Manager! As a Lead Manager, you will have managerial responsibility for a team of PostgreSQL DBA Consultants spread across France and internationally. You will work alongside our support team to drive team management, technical projects, and consultant career development in a fully remote and multicultural context.

What You’ll Do / Key Responsibilities

  • Team Management: Provide daily management of the team, task distribution, and monitoring of objectives.
  • Career Development: Support consultants’ careers, mentor team members, and participate in recruitment.
  • Technical Support: Deliver expert technical support for contracts and PostgreSQL-related projects.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work alongside the support team within an international and multicultural environment.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience as a PostgreSQL Consultant or DBA.
  • 3+ years of experience working in a managerial role.
  • Strong technical mastery over Linux, SQL, PL/PGSQL, and bash (experience using C is considered an ideal plus).
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Strong attraction to the Open Source world and a desire to join a team of technical experts.
  • Demonstrated curiosity, responsiveness, rigor, and a strong sense of service to deliver a high-quality customer experience.
  • Excellent analytical mindset and complete autonomy in a remote work organization.

Preferred / Bonus Qualifications (if applicable)

  • Experience programming or working with C.
  • Previous experience in a client-facing or consultancy environment.
