About the Role

We’re looking for a founding engineer to own and build out the data platform powering Converge. You will be the first engineer to fully own and scale the platform layer, handling significant annual revenue and massive data ingestion volumes.

What You’ll Do / Key Responsibilities

  • Drive roadmap and solve the hardest infra and systems problems.
  • Build services capable of ingesting up to a trillion jobs / month.
  • Analyze Clickhouse CPU and memory flamegraphs for performance tuning.
  • Materialize attribution datasets to scale billions of rows in realtime.
  • Build a SQL dialect for customers to directly query the data in Converge.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Very strong coding skills (familiarity with performant languages like Python).
  • Deep understanding of databases (OLTP & OLAP), specifically Postgres and Clickhouse.
  • Experience at scale in data-heavy systems, understanding failure modes.
  • Pragmatic and customer-minded approach to solution design.

Preferred / Bonus Qualifications (if applicable)

  • Experience with multi-quarter migrations in a “big tech” style environment.
