About the Role

Erias Ventures is seeking a Senior Database Engineer to help clients develop and implement comprehensive data management strategies. You will be responsible for facilitating, coordinating, and supervising data efforts while designing, developing, and updating strategic plans to manage data and ensure compliance with related policies and standards.

What You’ll Do / Key Responsibilities

  • Data Management & Strategy: Help the client develop and implement data management solutions and support the development of long- and short-term requirements for database administration and design.
  • Compliance & Oversight: Facilitate, coordinate, and supervise data-related efforts, ensuring data management practices comply with established policies and standards.
  • Database Engineering: Design, develop, and update strategic plans to manage enterprise data efficiently across multiple database platforms.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Security Clearance: Current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance (within 7 years) is required. (Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a clearance under this position).
  • Experience: 10 years of experience as a Database Engineer (DBE) in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university (Note: 5 years of additional DBE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree).
  • Database Familiarity: Experience with relational and non-relational databases including Oracle, Postgres, Mongo, and Redis.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with SQL and associated management tools (such as SQL Developer).

Preferred / Bonus Qualifications (if applicable)

  • Experience working with Elasticsearch.
