About the Role

The Infosys Financial Services unit drives digital transformation for financial institutions by leveraging advanced technologies like AI and cloud. This role, Infrastructure Consultant 2, focuses on ensuring the stability, performance, and security of client IT infrastructure within banking, wealth management, and insurance sectors.

What You’ll Do / Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teams to resolve complex incidents and conduct root cause analyses with preventive recommendations.
• Contribute to the design of scalable, cost-effective IT infrastructure solutions and review reusable components.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules, emergency fixes, and technology upgrades ensuring uninterrupted integration.
• Facilitate performance data analysis across systems and support capacity planning to optimize performance.
• Conduct security checks, recovery drills, and compliance audits to maintain adherence to standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with databases, specifically CockroachDB and Redis.
• Working knowledge of managing databases on containers (scheduling, networking, storage).
• Experience operating infrastructure services and database workloads in Cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Working knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform) and automated deployment approaches.
• Proficiency in Python working with APIs for developing and operationalizing AI driven applications.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required; three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

Preferred / Bonus Qualifications (if applicable)

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for containerized applications.
• Experience contributing within Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe).
