As an Experienced Database Administrator, you will design, develop, and maintain database systems that support critical healthcare operations, enabling data-driven decision-making.

What You’ll Do / Key Responsibilities

  • Lead client and project engagements to assess requirements and define database design strategies.
  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain database solutions, including automation of data processes.
  • Monitor and optimize database performance, managing production support activities like backup/recovery and archiving.
  • Drive continuous improvement by maintaining documentation and evaluating emerging technologies.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in database engineering, design, and development across enterprise environments.
  • Strong expertise in SQL Server (including AOAG), PostgreSQL (including Aurora), and AWS services (RDS, EC2).
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools such as PowerShell, Bash, Python.
  • Strong performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting skills using tools like SolarWinds DPA, pgAdmin, Prometheus, and AWS CloudWatch.

Preferred / Bonus Qualifications (if applicable)

  • Experience with database design methodologies and development in multi-tenant environments.
