About the Role

AT&T Global Public Sector provides secure, IP enabled, cloud-based network solutions to the Federal Government. This role supports Public Sector Solutions, requiring hands-on database administration within a small, talented team.

What You’ll Do / Key Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and troubleshoot Microsoft SQL Server and MariaDB databases across multiple architectures.
• Manage backup and recovery processes for production databases.
• Perform index and performance management to ensure optimal database health.
• Automate processes using PowerShell/Python scripting where possible.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Ten (10) years experience as a DBA in programs and contracts of similar scope.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (or 4 years additional DBA experience).
• Demonstrable experience supporting MS SQL, MariaDB, and/or Oracle databases.
• Required TS/SCI with polygraph clearance and DOD 8570.01-M compliance (IAT Level II).

Preferred / Bonus Qualifications (if applicable)

• Knowledge of AWS services, specifically RDS.
• Exposure to Commvault backup solutions.
• Knowledge of SQL Server AlwaysOn.
