Pay / Compensation: $140,000 – $190,000 USD per year

Momentum Engineering, Inc., a Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB), is seeking a Senior Database Administrator with 10+ years experience supporting large-scale or enterprise-level database services. What You’ll Do / Key Responsibilities
- Database Engineering & Administration: Administer and engineer solutions with Postgres, MySQL, and Oracle’s database (10 – current).
- Database Design & Requirements: Perform extensive experience with database design, as well as the collection and interpretation of customer requirements relevant to database migration, troubleshooting, performance observation, and tuning.
- Backup & High Availability (Desired): Handle production and deployment of RAC, RMAN backup & recovery, Data Guard, and DB Vault.
- Security & Management (Desired): Utilize Oracle Exadata, DB security, Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control, label security, and data migration tools.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Must have active Top Secret/SCI with NSA FSP security clearance.
- 10 + years experience administering to, and engineering solutions with Postgres, MySQL, and Oracle’s database.
- Extensive experience with database design, troubleshooting, performance observation, and tuning.
- BS in CS or related course of study, or equivalent year’s experience.
- Must be an independent worker with strong communications skills.
Preferred / Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with RAC, RMAN backup & recovery, Oracle Exadata, DB security, Data Guard and / or DB Vault, Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control, label security, and data migration.
