What You’ll Do / Key Responsibilities

  • Install and Maintain Systems: Install, configure, and maintain various database systems including Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and MySQL.
  • Backup and Recovery: Implement and manage robust backup and recovery solutions, including regular testing.
  • Security and Compliance: Apply security patches, upgrades, and system updates to ensure compliance with federal standards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with development and hosting teams to deploy secure and scalable database solutions.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Database Expertise: Hands-on experience with Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL databases.
  • Backup Tooling: Proficiency in backup and recovery tools such as RMAN and VEEAM.
  • Server Environments: Strong background in Linux and Windows Server environments.
  • Clearance: Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
