UST is searching for a skilled Data ETL/Data Engineer with strong expertise in data integration, ETL development, data warehousing, and large-scale data processing. In this opportunity, you will create a boundless impact that transforms your career—and the lives of people across the world.

What You’ll Do / Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL/data pipeline solutions.
  • Build scalable data processing workflows using Python and PySpark.
  • Develop and optimize SQL/PLSQL scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Design and maintain data warehouse architectures and data models.
  • Perform performance tuning and query optimization for large datasets.
  • Work with Databricks, Snowflake, and PostgreSQL environments.
  • Manage source code repositories using Bitbucket and follow CI/CD best practices.
  • Leverage AI-powered development tools to improve productivity and code quality.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions.
  • Create technical documentation and support production deployments.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Strong experience in ETL development, Database Development, and data engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL, Python Programming, and PySpark ETL Development/Data Integration.
  • Experience in Data Warehousing concepts/development and Query Performance Tuning and Optimization.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and modern data engineering practices.
  • Experience with version control tools such as Bitbucket/Git.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and Windsurf.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred / Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with Databricks and Snowflake.
  • Knowledge of AWS cloud services and PostgreSQL database administration (AWS RDS PostgreSQL).
  • Exposure to Developing AI Agents and Generative AI technologies/solutions.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Proficiency in Shell Scripting.
