UST is searching for a skilled Data ETL/Data Engineer with strong expertise in data integration, ETL development, data warehousing, and large-scale data processing. In this opportunity, you will create a boundless impact that transforms your career—and the lives of people across the world.
What You’ll Do / Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL/data pipeline solutions.
- Build scalable data processing workflows using Python and PySpark.
- Develop and optimize SQL/PLSQL scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Design and maintain data warehouse architectures and data models.
- Perform performance tuning and query optimization for large datasets.
- Work with Databricks, Snowflake, and PostgreSQL environments.
- Manage source code repositories using Bitbucket and follow CI/CD best practices.
- Leverage AI-powered development tools to improve productivity and code quality.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions.
- Create technical documentation and support production deployments.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- Strong experience in ETL development, Database Development, and data engineering.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL, Python Programming, and PySpark ETL Development/Data Integration.
- Experience in Data Warehousing concepts/development and Query Performance Tuning and Optimization.
- Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and modern data engineering practices.
- Experience with version control tools such as Bitbucket/Git.
- Experience leveraging AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and Windsurf.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred / Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with Databricks and Snowflake.
- Knowledge of AWS cloud services and PostgreSQL database administration (AWS RDS PostgreSQL).
- Exposure to Developing AI Agents and Generative AI technologies/solutions.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Proficiency in Shell Scripting.
