- Database Lifecycle Automation: Automate database lifecycle operations including deployment, resizing, upgrades, and forking, while participating in on-call rotations, handling incident response, and performing root cause analysis.
- Feature Development: Develop back-end features for Tiger Cloud, building Kubernetes controllers, operators, and Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs) to extend platform capabilities and enhance observability and monitoring systems.
- Collaboration & Architecture: Work closely with infrastructure and software engineering teams to ensure platform scalability, reliability, and security compliance, while contributing to system architecture for scalable microservices.
- Code Quality & Testing: Write idiomatic Go code with comprehensive unit and integration tests, maintaining >80% code coverage, enforcing quality with linters, and performing rigorous peer reviews.
